Clinic Regulations

1. Silence is a decisive factor for relaxation. Please avoid making noise especially during “siesta’’ hours from 02.00 to 03.15 p.m. and during the night from 10.00 p.m. to 08.00 a.m. (doors, telephone, shower, radio, etc.).


2. For therapeutic reasons and in order to create the optimum conditions for relaxation, television sets are not permitted in patients’ rooms. You are also kindly requested not to use radios without headphones and mobile phones in any public areas of the clinic.


3. The clinic is open from 08.00 a.m. until 12.00 midnight. After these hours our doors remain closed. Nevertheless, the security guard will allow you to enter on foot until 02.00 a.m. Cars must be left outside.


4. You are advised to make use of the safe in your room. Our insurance covers its contents up to an equivalent of 3.000 €. Cars parked on the car park and their contents are excluded from insurance coverage. The same applies to objects or personal property left in deposit.


5. Our swimming pool is open from 09.30 a.m. to sunset. The pool area is supervised by a lifeguard every day according to a time-schedule established for summer and winter seasons. Patients using the pool when unsupervised do so under their own responsibility. For reasons of hygiene you are requested to shower before entering the pool. Please use a cap.


6. Visitors will be accepted at the clinic for a stay not in excess of three days subject to previous arrangement with our Reservations Deptartment. As from the fourth day, they are considered patients in all respects with full involvement in our medical and therapy programmes.


7. For reasons of hygiene pets are not allowed.


8. Smoking and the consumption of alcoholic drinks are not permitted on the clinic premises.


9. Patients who spend the night away from the clinic without the consent from the doctor or the senior nurse may be required to interrupt their therapy and are liable to pay any expenses incurred.


10. On accompanied excursions or walks, assistance can only be guaranteed for those patients who remain with the group.


11. Compliance with the clinic regulations and instructions given by medical and therapeutic staff is of utmost importance for the success of your treatment, otherwise best results cannot be ensured.


12. The clinic reserves the right to cancel the treatments and reservations of patients who do not abide by the internal regulations laid down by the clinic.


13. The minimum age for admission to the clinic is 15 years.


14. Patients aged between 15 and 18 must be accompanied by parents or tutors who will also be admitted to the clinic as patients.

Conditions and Terms of Payment

• The reservation must be secured by a deposit of 800 € per person and by forwarding your reservation form at least 7 weeks before your arrival.

• Payment can be made by credit card (charged immediately to your account) or by bank transfer. In this case a copy of the transactions must be sent by fax.

• In the case of mid-term cancellations (3 weeks or more before scheduled arrival date) the deposit will be returned in full.

• In the case of short term cancellations (between 20 and 7 days before scheduled arrival date) 50% of deposit will be returned.

• In the case of cancellations less than 7 days before scheduled arrival date or delayed arrival, the reservation deposit will not be refunded.

• In the case of late arrival or early departure you will be charged accordingly.

• 50% of the approximate cost of your stay should be paid upon arrival.

• Full payment should be made before departure.

General Conditions and Observations

• V.A.T. is included in all prices. Medical, psychological and laboratory services are tax-free.

• The room standard is based on size and location and does not affect the therapies or quality of services. More information about the different standards is available on page 35.

• Arrival and departure days are charged as one single day. Rooms are available from 3.30 pm on arrival day and should be vacated before 12.00 noon on departure day.

• The prices do not include medicines.

• Meals or treatments not taken will not be refunded.

• Individual appointments have to be cancelled by 1.30 pm the day before in the Planning office (“Planificación”) otherwise they will be charged in full.

• Changes of dates or length of stay are possible only by agreement with the Reservation Department, and depending on room availability. We always do our best to satisfy requests for room preferences. However, for organizational reasons these cannot be guaranteed and in some cases a room change may be entailed.

• Buchinger Marbella reserves the right to change prices. These will not come into effect until after having been published.

• The present price list replaces all previous lists.

• Patients who check-in to the clinic are expected to be acquainted with and abide by the above prices and conditions.

• We request your comprehension in the event that a certain therapy or treatment is temporarily not available. Unfortunately not all of the activities offered in the weekly programme can be made available in different languages. Please contact us if you have any inquiries.

• The length of sessions may vary slightly.

Observations

• Recommended clothing for our sports and therapy programme includes a tracksuit, shorts (in summer), swimsuit, trainers, comfortable shoes and hat for walks.  The clinic provides a bathrobe and slippers.
