A day at the Buchinger is not like any other day. It is a day of novelties, of activity and leisure, of challenges and joys, of discovering yourself and a healthy life-style perhaps unknown to you until now.The day starts with an early-morning meeting with the nurse for a brief medical check up (blood-pressure, sugar-levels, weight control), a few questions, coordination of the daily routine.If you are fasting, your morning tea will then be sent to your room, if you are on a low-calorie diet you will go to the dining room for breakfast.

Perhaps you would prefer to greet the day surrounded by nature: our clinic bus takes you to the beach where you can walk, jog, learn to power walk or Nordic walking, take a dip in the sea or just enjoy the sunrise. On Sundays, instead of the popular beach walk, we go into the nearby hills and mountains, an ideal opportunity to improve your cardio-vascular fitness but especially to enjoy the beautiful landscape surrounding Marbella. Physical exercise classes take up a large part of the day: the majority of the wide range of activities available in our weekly programme is held in the gymnasium or in our heated swimming pool. |
However, you may prefer to use the Fitness Room, equipped with the latest exercise machines or take personal training sessions held in the Pilates Room. You might like to take tennis lessons with our instructor or hire the court for a regular game with other players. For those who opt for more leisurely games, we now have a French Bowls ground at your disposal.At the clinic you will find a variety of activities, all tuned in to helping you reduce the stress often caused by our modern life-style. Apart from tranquil walks, there are yoga classes, breathing, relaxation, qi gong or meditation classes.
